Born and raised in the vicinity of Phoenix, Arizona and currently residing in Fairbanks, Alaska, I am an avid outdoorsman with a focus on highlighting our planet’s beauty through photography while sharing my vision with others.

I was introduced to photography in 2005 (at the age of 15), and have had a serious commitment to the craft since 2016. I have always loved the freedom of being outdoors and have blossomed as an adult, venturing into nature at almost any opportunity, always with my camera in hand. From the American Southwest to the Arctic Circle, my adventurousness continues to push the limits of my knowledge of photography, navigation, and our natural world.

While adventuring and exploring beautiful places is certainly one of my favorite activities, a core passion of mine is capturing those experiences through digital photography. Since moving to Alaska in 2024, I’ve so far devoted nearly two years to learning how to best capture the Northern Lights, which has drawn on concepts and knowledge from all of my prior years of photography experience to achieve. No matter the kind of photography you prefer, learning to capture the aurora pushes the limits of your camera and takes your understanding of photography to the next level. This evolution is something I’ve noticed in my own development and is something that has contributed to my continuously growing love for both photography and the aurora. Since becoming an Alaskan, a new passion has been born: seeing, learning about, and sharing the aurora with others.

My intention is to share with others the experience of both witnessing and capturing the Northern Lights in peaceful and photogenic environments.
